Adviser Forums

This site has been created to allow free and easy communication between those financial service professionals based in the UK who give advice on regulated products. The site has been inspired by the success of sister site www.sesameforums.co.uk whcih was created to provide a forum for free exchange of information and ideas between the advisers within the Sesame Network.

One of the biggest benefits of that site as expressed by the users is the exclusion of all non-advisers. There are other sites and services out there that facilitate the same or similar methods of communication however many of the advisers that I have spoken to feel that those sites do not really fit their needs for two reasons. Firstly they are not private, they can be viewed by anyone and secondly a great proportion of the membership of such sites tend to be service providers looking for clients and pouncing on posts in the hope of gaining some recognition, when the poster is often looking for the opinion of their peers!

So to qualify for membership of this site you must be an "Adviser".

Membership will not be granted to those working in a non-advisory capacity or who simply have a vested interest in financial services.
